Admission:
Please inform admission staff before registration if you have attended
the Hospital previously as an inpatient, day case, outpatient or for
any tests such as bloods, X-ray, cardiac, breathing or physiotherapy.
This will avoid duplication of records and ensure an efficient registration.
In Patient
Generally, admission time to the hospital for Inpatients is between 13.30
and 15.30 hours. This includes surgical patients coming to the Hospital
on day(s) prior to surgery. Patients for admission on day of surgery
will be advised of time by consultant’s secretary.
Day Cases
Admission time for Day Cases will be given to you by your Consultant’s
secretary. Please read Day Case instructions received from your Consultant’s
secretary.
Discharge
Please note that rooms must be vacated no later than 11.00am on the day
of discharge.
