Catering Assistants in the ward kitchens provide a service
to patients from 07.30 to 18.30 and 20.00 to 23.00, seven
days a week. Breakfast, mid-morning breaks, lunch and evening
meals are provided, as well as evening snacks from 20.00
to 23.00. Ward catering staff liaise closely with Nursing
staff and the hospital Dietitian to ensure patients receive
meals suited to their dietary needs.

Patients wishing to contact the ward kitchen will find
the extension number written at the top of their daily
menu. Please feel free to contact any member of the catering
staff regarding any special requests or queries.
Access to Restaurant
The Restaurant is located on the ground floor between Reception
and the Admissions Department and is open from 07.45 – 18.30.
The Restaurant is closed between the hours of 11.30 – 12.00,
14.00 – 14.30 and 16.30 – 17.00 seven days
a week.
It is open to the public as well as staff members. We have
been awarded the “Happy Heart at Work” Certificate
by the Irish Heart Foundation, for providing healthy eating
options for breakfast, lunch, and evening meals.
