Bon Secours Hospital, Galway
Bon Secours Hospital Galway is a 90 bed acute care facility, providing a wide range of surgical and medical services. We currently admit 15,000 patients per annum, comprising 5,000 in-patients and 10,000 daycases. For more than 50 years, we have participated in serving the health care needs of the people of Galway and adjoining counties.
We completed the building of a significant expansion in 2006 which includes:
- 4 Operating Theatres, including 2 Ultra Clean-Air rooms
- 2 Endoscopy Rooms and 3 Minor Procedure Rooms
- 22 Bed dedicated Day Ward
- New Radiology Department
- Consultant Clinic Building
We are now commencing our Phase Two Development in 2009 and this includes 50 new Patient Bedrooms,Physiotherapy Department, new Restaurant and enhanced Laboratory, Medical Stores and Office Accommodation. This development will be completed by the end of 2010.
