The newly designed breast cancer centre which is located in the former Maternity Hospital was designed in accordance with current HIQA guidelines and opened in November 2009. The modern unit dedicated to Breast Cancer contains state–of-the-art facilities and equipment including patient waiting areas, patient changing areas, 2 mammography suites, an ultrasound suite and 3 consultant suites.

Bon Secours Hospital Cork is delighted to announce that the following have joined the existing Multi-Disciplinary Breast Service Team at Bon Secours:
Ms Deirdre O’ Hanlon – Breast Surgeon
Mr Martin O’ Sullivan – Breast Surgeon
Dr David Hill – Breast Radiologist
Dr Pauline Smiddy – Breast Radiologist
