Initial consultation with Diabetes Nurse Specialist and Dietitian €100*
Follow-up consultation with Diabetes Nurse Specialist and Dietitian €60*
*must be GP or Consultant referred
Carbohydrate & Insulin Training €100/session.
For those with type 1 diabetes.
Weight Loss Programme for people with diabetes €300 (no referral necessary)
Will I be able to claim the outpatient fee through my Private Health Insurance?
Yes, Dietitian fees can be submitted in your outpatient expenses and partially refunded in accordance with your level of cover.
Unclaimed portions of your fees can be included in your Med 1 form at the end of the tax year, contact the tax office for more information or see www.revenue.ie
